Private Reassessment of ADHD / ADD Diagnosis in Stockholm

Freja Psychiatry offers assessments aimed at reassessing an existing ADHD diagnosis for adults in Stockholm. Our private clinic provides safe and professional support throughout the entire process.

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects several aspects of life, but symptoms may change or diminish with age. A diagnosis can present challenges in adult life, particularly when applying for certain professions or educational programs.

The assessment includes a thorough evaluation and a range of tests to give a clear picture of your current situation and whether you still meet the diagnostic criteria today.

If the diagnosis is withdrawn, you will no longer need to state that you have a neurodevelopmental condition when applying for jobs or education. However, it is important to note that withdrawal of the diagnosis is not guaranteed, and a full assessment is always conducted.

Warm welcome!

What is included in the assessment?

  • A thorough evaluation of your symptoms and history through interviews and tests
  • A clear overview of your current life situation and any related psychiatric conditions
  • A formal medical statement for use when needed

How it works

  • Initial Screening Appointment

  • You book an initial meeting where you discuss your situation with a doctor. During this visit, you will receive an assessment of whether a reassessment is recommended.

  • The Assessment Begins

  • Together with your coordinator, appointments are scheduled for interviews and tests. A total of 3–5 visits are required after the screening, and all but one can be conducted digitally.

  • Assessment Results

  • We prepare your neuropsychiatric report, stating whether you currently meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD. If you no longer meet the criteria for ADHD / ADD, the diagnosis is considered withdrawn.
